Job Overview:
A leading international law firm headquartered in San Antonio is seeking an experienced attorney for a specialized role within its real estate group. This opportunity centers on supporting high-profile renewable energy developers with property acquisition, title review, and site control matters. The position is ideal for legal professionals who enjoy the technical depth of real estate transactions and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional legal team environment. Duties:

  • Handle real estate matters related to the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects

  • Draft and negotiate real estate agreements including purchase and sale contracts, lease agreements, and title curative instruments

  • Provide legal guidance on title insurance and site control for complex land transactions

  • Coordinate with title insurers, surveyors, and other stakeholders on transactional and development issues

  • Identify, resolve, and document title defects and discrepancies in support of land acquisition

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of attorneys and stakeholders to facilitate project success

  • Maintain high standards of client communication and service throughout all phases of representation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of legal practice experience in real estate law

  • Deep familiarity with title review, land acquisition, and leasing transactions

  • Prior experience representing clients in renewable energy or infrastructure sectors is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex real estate matters independently and efficiently

  • Proficient in reviewing and negotiating curative title documents and survey coverage issues

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of Texas

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar admission in Texas required

Skills:

  • Exceptional drafting and legal writing capabilities

  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high-volume workload
