Job Overview:
A law firm located in Glendale, AZ, is currently seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney with a focus on family-based and humanitarian immigration cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a professional in the early stages of their legal career to learn from some of the foremost experts in the field of immigration law. Mentorship from senior attorneys will be provided, as well as exposure to complex immigration cases that impact vulnerable populations. This role offers the chance to grow within a collaborative and supportive team while building expertise in immigration law.

Duties:

  • Manage family-based and humanitarian immigration cases under the guidance of senior attorneys.

  • Prepare and file immigration applications and supporting documentation.

  • Conduct in-depth client interviews and assist in formulating case strategies.

  • Perform legal research on complex immigration issues and contribute to innovative solutions.

  • Maintain detailed and organized case notes and records using case management software (e.g., Filevine).

  • Work closely with other team members to deliver exceptional service to clients.

  • Participate in regular case strategy meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active Bar license or pending Bar admission.

  • Passion for immigration law, social justice, and helping underserved communities.

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize effectively.

  • Comfort with technology and remote work environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience from an immigration clinic or internship.

  • Proficiency in Spanish or other languages.

  • Familiarity with immigration forms, procedures, and case management software.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
