Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation and construction-related disputes.
• Manage a caseload, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on commercial and construction projects.
• Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlements.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of case law and industry trends.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial litigation and construction law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Experience with trial preparation and court appearances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.

Education & Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active South Carolina Bar membership or the ability to obtain within a specified time frame.

Certifications:

• South Carolina Bar Admission (Required).
