The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate litigation, construction issues, and intellectual property cases. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a fast-paced, high-energy law firm serving clients throughout Florida.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, orders, and pleadings.
• Prepare senior attorneys for upcoming hearings and court appearances.
• Manage case files, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinate discovery efforts with paralegals and legal support staff.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on various topics related to business disputes, real estate, and intellectual property matters.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management and support ongoing litigation.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience as a litigation attorney.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual work environment.
• Experience with Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Clio experience is preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Education:

• Graduated with honors (cum laude or higher) from an accredited law school.
• An LSAT score of 155+ is preferred.
• Top 25% of law school class with high marks in legal research and writing.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
