Duties:

  • Represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, managing all aspects of the process.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on bankruptcy-related issues, including debt relief, asset protection, and financial reorganization.
  • Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and decisions.
  • Assist clients with filing procedures and guide court proceedings.
  • Negotiate with creditors, trustees, and other parties to resolve issues and reach favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality service and case management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of bankruptcy laws and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in bankruptcy law, specifically with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.
  • Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
