Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies related to their cases.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry practices relevant to commercial litigation.
• Participate in client meetings and provide regular case updates.
• Negotiate settlements and facilitate dispute resolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of general experience in sophisticated commercial litigation.
• Admission to the Maryland Bar.
• Strong academic credentials, with a demonstrated ability to perform rigorous legal research and writing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership and good standing with the Maryland Bar.
