Duties:

• Handle personal injury cases from start to finish, including intake, strategy development, and trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering case-related inquiries.
• Lead mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and respond to legal motions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Present and argue cases in court, aiming for favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with support staff and fellow attorneys across various offices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Proven track record as a 1st chair in jury trials.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Indiana State Bar.
• Strong understanding of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Indiana State Bar is required.
