Job Overview

A prestigious law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Litigation Attorney. This position offers the opportunity to manage a variety of complex business disputes, including breach of contract, real estate conflicts, partnership dissolutions, landlord-tenant issues, and intellectual property matters. The role involves handling cases from inception through resolution, including legal research, motion practice, discovery management, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

Duties

• Handle a diverse caseload of business litigation matters.

• Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to each case.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.

• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.

• Take and defend depositions, including working with expert witnesses.

• Argue motions in court and participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.

• Prepare cases for trial and participate in courtroom proceedings as needed.

• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams to advance case objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney handling business disputes.

• Strong ability to manage all aspects of litigation independently.

• Experience in depositions, discovery management, and motion practice.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

• Ability to work effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

• Prior trial experience is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar license with the State Bar of Nevada.
