Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, orders, and pleadings
• Assist lead attorney in preparation for hearings and legal proceedings
• Manage case deadlines and stay on top of case management responsibilities
• Coordinate and oversee discovery processes with paralegals and legal support staff
• Conduct comprehensive legal research on various topics to support case strategy

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual work environment
• Experience with legal software (Clio preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently with a strong internet connection and quiet workspace

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school graduated cum laude or higher
• Top 25% of the graduating class
• High academic achievement in legal research and writing

Certifications:

• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
