Attorney Specialist Asset Management and Investment Funds

A law firm seeks a dedicated Attorney Specialist to join its Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) practice group. This role offers a permanent opportunity for attorneys interested in a non-partnership track position focused on supporting AMIF attorneys in handling derivatives transactions and repurchase agreements for registered investment company clients, including mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds.

Duties

• Collaborate with partners and associates on large-scale mutual fund client relationships.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of derivatives transactions and repurchase agreements.
• Provide high-quality support on matters related to registered investment companies, including mutual funds and ETFs.
• Manage and coordinate projects within a team environment to ensure deadlines are met and objectives achieved.
• Work independently while maintaining open communication with team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in asset management, derivatives, or a related area.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Long-term interest in working within a specialized and growing practice area.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in good standing.
