Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a motivated Projects, Energy, And Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will be crucial in handling complex transactions, advising clients on energy and infrastructure projects, and contributing to the firm's growth and client satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Interact directly with clients to provide intelligent legal advice with integrity.
  • Lead the drafting of complex transaction documentation and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day matters within complex transactions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, fostering their professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to creating a positive work environment aligned with the firm’s vision.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in projects, project finance, or infrastructure law, acquired in private practice or in-house.
  • Admission to the New York, California, and Texas Bar.
  • Strong drafting skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed analytical skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in at least one of the following states: New York, California, or Texas.

Skills:

  • Ability to lead and manage complex transactions independently.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
