A well-established law firm located in North Las Vegas, NV, is currently seeking a qualified Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate should have a focus on insurance defense, though experience in other areas of litigation will also be considered. Duties:

• Provide legal representation and advice to clients in litigation matters.
• Handle cases involving insurance defense and other areas of law as needed.
• Manage case files, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and legal proceedings.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and advice.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and diligence in all tasks.

Requirements:

• Active Bar license in the state of Nevada.
• 2-6 years of litigation experience (insurance defense experience is a plus).
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Strong litigation and trial preparation skills.
• Ability to handle complex legal cases with diligence and attention to detail.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction.
