Criminal Defense Associate Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Handle a high volume of criminal defense cases, including motion practice and daily court appearances
• Work independently while managing priorities and multitasking efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service with regular client interaction
• Quickly adapt to new legal applications and software to enhance client service
• Perform effectively under pressure and manage stressful situations
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, handling sensitive and challenging situations

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Admission in additional jurisdictions is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant criminal law experience
• Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar Admission required
• Additional jurisdiction admissions are preferable

Skills:

• Strong litigation and motion practice experience
