Labor And Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in employment matters. The ideal candidate should have Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and state counterpart litigation expertise. The individual must be an excellent writer with experience in Federal Court, State Court, EEOC, and other federal and state agencies. The candidate should be knowledgeable in discovery and motion practice, capable of running day-to-day cases independently with minimal supervision, adaptable to changing circumstances, and motivated to continually enhance their skills.

Duties:

• Handle labor and employment cases, including but not limited to Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and state counterpart litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Represented clients in federal and state courts, before EEOC and other federal and state agencies.
• Manage day-to-day case activities independently, demonstrating high responsibility and attention to detail.
• Participate in all aspects of case development, from client intake to resolution.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
• Proven experience in handling employment matters, including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience in Federal Court, State Court, and before federal and state agencies.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Motivated to learn and grow professionally.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
