Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

A law firm in Dallas is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to provide high-quality and cost-effective legal representation to clients. The candidate will be responsible for various aspects of case management, including intake, budgeting, research, negotiation, litigation, and appeal.

Duties:

• Provide high-quality legal representation to clients in insurance defense matters
• Manage case intake, including assessment of legal issues and client needs
• Develop and manage case budgets efficiently
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Provide timely and accurate legal advice and guidance to clients
• Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
• Prepare for and participate in litigation, including hearings, trials, and appeals
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties
• Maintain organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in the various State and Federal Courts of the state(s) of employment
• Certificate(s) of Good Standing from appropriate governing bodies

• Strong legal research and analytical skills
