Business Immigration Attorney for New York City Office

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join its team in New York City. Duties:

• Establish and maintain solid client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for case progress and legal guidance
• Develop and implement customized immigration strategies tailored to the client's specific business needs
• Advise clients on eligibility for a variety of visa options, including non-immigrant and immigrant categories
• Prepare and file petitions for L, H, TN, O, E visas, as well as PERM, I-130, EB1A/B/C, I-140, and I-485 applications
• Stay informed on developments in immigration law, providing proactive solutions to address evolving challenges
• Oversee case preparation, document review, and filing to ensure compliance with legal standards
• Maintain organized and thorough client files, ensuring adherence to both legal and firm-specific protocols
• Assist clients during immigration interviews and hearings, providing clear guidance throughout the process
• Contribute to business growth by identifying new client opportunities and strengthening existing relationships
• Mentor junior legal staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of immigration law trends

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in business immigration law, with a focus on visa categories for businesses and professionals
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
