Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters including commercial disputes, personal injury defense, probate litigation, and employment law

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

  • Handle discovery processes including depositions, interrogatories, and document review

  • Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials

  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations and arbitrations

Requirements

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in civil litigation

  • Experience with personal injury defense, probate, and employment law preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Michigan court procedures and filing requirements

  • High level of professionalism and legal ethics

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
