Attorney

Oakland office of our client seeks attorney with experience in a private criminal defense setting or a Public Defenders office. The candidate will be committed to criminal defense, protecting the rights of those accused, and always trying their best and fighting for excellent result. Will be prepared for hearings, research potential issues, guide clients clearly and thoughtfully, and provide strategic advice. Advocate for, and secure, the best possible outcome for clients. Draft and submit motions and other filings on time - meeting internal and external deadlines. Arrive to work and court on time in professional and appropriate attire. Fully participate in quarterly goal setting and performance reviews. Participate in ongoing training as required by the Firm. Jury trial, preliminary hearing, and felony experience are preferred. Spanish Speaking preferred. Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.

The candidate should be energetic, prepared, motivated, zealous, advocates who are committed to providing high quality client service. Must possess a J.D. degree from an accredited university.
