A law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience in handling acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financing. The ideal candidate must possess a keen attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate various real estate transaction documents including purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and closing documents.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and title review for real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate matters.
  • Handle closings and coordinate with clients, lenders, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing (North Carolina bar admission preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in real estate transactions at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Proven track record of managing real estate transactions from start to finish.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications (if applicable):

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar (or ability to waive in).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of real estate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting legal documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
