Job Overview: A law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a skilled Immigration Attorney to manage a diverse caseload, represent clients in various immigration proceedings, and provide comprehensive legal support.

Duties:

  • Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.
  • Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Manage a workload of cases and visit detained individuals at centers for intake.
  • Prepare and review diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
  • Present to and collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.
  • Conducted strategic consultations with potential clients and determined necessary legal strategies.
  • Provide legal analysis to assess possible benefits for clients' cases.
  • Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
  • Proven track record of advancing legal cases and managing a caseload effectively.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.

Skills:

  • Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
  • Proficiency in Case Management Software preferred.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with fellow associates.
