Duties

• Manage personal injury cases from initial file through trial.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including filing lawsuits, drafting discovery, conducting depositions, and preparing for trial.
• Regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff, and other attorneys.
• Lead a litigation team of 5+ people and a pre-litigation team of 2-3.
• Manage case strategy and guide teams through the litigation process.
• Work independently and efficiently, while being accountable for case progression and deadlines.
• Expand trial skills and knowledge in trucking litigation.
• Willingness to obtain board certification in truck accident law.
• Supervise and manage other team members effectively.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and work ethic in all case-related tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience managing commercial motor vehicle cases preferred.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills in managing litigation teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and organize complex case files and deadlines.
• Willingness to expand knowledge of trucking litigation and personal injury law.

Education

• Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
• Current member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia State Bar.
• Admission to federal courts in Georgia is a plus.
• Board certification in truck accident law (optional but encouraged).
