Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney for their Irvine, CA, location. The candidate, with 4-6 years of experience, should have employment counseling and litigation experience and a strong desire to collaborate across offices. Admittance to practice in California is required. The Labor and Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel on employment matters, with a focus on labor and employment, wage and hour, and PAGA issues. The candidate should bring 4-6 years of experience, excellent writing skills, and a strong academic record. Collaboration across offices is encouraged in this role.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on labor and employment matters.
• Handle employment counseling and litigation.
• Demonstrate expertise in management-side labor and employment, wage and hour, and PAGA issues.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across offices.
• Utilize excellent writing skills in legal documentation.
• Ensure compliance with California labor and employment laws.
• Manage and represent clients in legal proceedings.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in California.
• 4-6 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Employment counseling and litigation experience.
• Management-side labor and employment, wage and hour, and PAGA experience (a plus).

Education and Certifications:
