Senior Trial Attorney

A law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to lead and manage all phases of litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing case strategies, conducting legal research, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. This role requires a proven track record of success in personal injury trials, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor junior attorneys and paralegals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a strong commitment to professional integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Prepare and present persuasive legal arguments in court.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other attorneys to gather evidence and build strong cases.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and paralegals.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar and in good standing.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a personal injury trial attorney (plaintiff or defense) with a proven track record of success.
• Proven experience with at least 5 personal injury trials to verdict.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education:
