Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload in litigation, real estate, construction, and creditor's rights practice.
  • Represent clients in all manners of court appearances and proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior associates as needed.
  • Effectively manage time to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Maintain organized records and prioritize case-related tasks to ensure timely client service.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of legal experience in relevant fields such as litigation, real estate, construction, and creditors' rights.
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a strong work ethic, coupled with leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
