Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Las Vegas specializing in Personal Injury, Immigration, and Criminal Defense is seeking a dynamic Associate Attorney with fluency in Mandarin. This is an exciting opportunity to handle immigration and criminal defense cases, guiding clients through complex legal challenges. The firm seeks a proactive and dedicated attorney eager to grow in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration and/or criminal defense matters from initial consultation to case resolution
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and case briefs
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients
  • Appear in court for hearings and trials, advocating effectively for clients
  • Manage a caseload of varied complexity while adhering to deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and direction

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active admission to the Nevada State Bar
  • Fluency in Mandarin required
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Immigration law and/or Criminal Defense
  • Proven legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom experience
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Nevada Bar admission

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar
