Duties:

• Handle various aspects of commercial litigation cases, including drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Review and draft construction contracts.
• Conduct depositions and attend court appearances for motions and conferences.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients and interact with opposing counsel.
• Assist in trial preparation, with trial experience considered a plus.
• Perform detailed legal research and produce high-quality written documents.
• Maintain a proactive approach and manage caseload efficiently.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and client needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated experience with construction contracts and commercial litigation matters.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing competing priorities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York State Bar license.
