Location:

Duties:

  • Meet and screen potential new clients to assess case viability.
  • Cover depositions and hearings for workers' compensation cases.
  • Open new case files and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of workers' compensation law and related legal processes.
  • Conduct research on case-related factual issues using internal and external resources.
  • Assist senior attorneys as needed in case preparation and management.
  • Review and analyze medical records relevant to workers' compensation cases.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and people skills, including excellent telephone etiquette.
  • High level of attention to detail and ethical practice in managing legal matters.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and maintain cultural awareness.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona, or bar passage with pending admission.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Arizona Bar (pending admissions considered).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in document review software and case management software.
  • Strong research and legal writing skills.
  • Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
