Job Overview:

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract disputes.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and court cases.
• Advise and train employers on compliance with labor and employment laws.
• Handle matters related to non-compete agreements, employment torts, and class/collective actions.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on evolving employment law regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 2 years of experience in employment law or a related legal field.
• Active and in good standing membership with the Wisconsin State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and administrative procedures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Education:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Wisconsin Bar membership is required.
