Mid-Senior Level Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Manchester, NH, is seeking a highly skilled mid-Senior-Level Patent Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of patent litigation experience and demonstrate proficiency in complex legal matters related to patent disputes. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Draft and respond to complex discovery requests.
• Confer, negotiate, and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Prepare for, defend, and conduct depositions.
• Prepare for trial, including drafting exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine, and witness preparation.
• Prepare Federal Circuit appeal briefs.
• Supervise and train junior associates.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Prepare infringement and invalidity claim charts.
• Handle Markman and claim construction proceedings.
• Manage patent-specific fact and expert discovery.
• Oversee inter partes reviews.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of patent litigation experience.
• Significant experience in drafting and responding to pleadings.
• Expertise in preparing infringement and invalidity claim charts.
• Experience with Markman and claim construction proceedings.
• Knowledge of patent-specific facts and expert discovery.
• Proficiency in handling inter partes reviews.
• Patent trial experience is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or substantial experience litigating matters in similar disciplines.
