Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have significant litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm, and possess strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as necessary.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • State Bar admission in California (CA).
  • 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with demonstrated case management experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good business judgment and ability to work collaboratively as a team.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Research and problem-solving skills, with conceptual thinking ability.
  • Ability to influence others and persuasive communication skills.
  • Management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree from a well-recognized and respected law school.
  • State Bar admission in California (CA).
