Duties:

  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Conduct comprehensive client interviews to gather necessary case information.
  • Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other court-related documents.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their immigration cases and potential outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and strategize case approaches.
  • Stay updated on the latest immigration laws and regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings and consultations.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in one or more states (Florida, California, Maryland, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law, specifically in removal proceedings.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to advocating for immigrant rights.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
