Employment Single Action Associate Attorney

A law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking an Employment Single Action Associate Attorney with specialized experience in employment litigation. This role involves drafting legal documents, developing strategies, conducting depositions and negotiations, and representing clients in employment matters.

Duties:

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for employment litigation cases.
• Develop legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while managing costs effectively.
• Take and defend depositions, and participate in meet and confer sessions.
• Conduct alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mediations and negotiations.
• Present arguments and represent clients in various employment-related proceedings.
• Utilize superior analytical and legal research skills to support case strategies.
• Think creatively and strategically to address complex legal issues.
• Maintain exceptional organizational skills, including effective time management.
• Type at least 40 words per minute to ensure efficient document preparation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in employment litigation.
