A law firm in Waco, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Attorney to provide proactive client care and exceptional quality service in handling cases. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding analytical and evaluation skills to successfully negotiate the best possible outcomes for clients. Recent law school graduates who have successfully passed the bar are encouraged to apply. Texas Criminal Law experience is preferred, and candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

 

Duties:

  • Provide proactive client care and exceptional quality service in handling cases.
  • Represent clients in criminal defense matters, including misdemeanors and felonies.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Negotiate with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case.

 

Requirements:

  • Recent law school graduates who have successfully passed the Bar are encouraged to apply.
  • Texas Criminal Law experience is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
