Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking junior and mid-level associates (1-5 years of experience) to join its Dallas office in the Technology Transactions and Privacy practice. Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate technology-related agreements, including license agreements, SaaS agreements, privacy policies, and data processing terms.
  • Advise clients on privacy law matters, including data protection and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing technology transactions, including intellectual property considerations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on complex technology and privacy matters.
  • Provide legal advice and solutions tailored to clients’ business needs.
  • Work on cross-functional teams to address legal and business challenges.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in technology transactions and privacy law.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents.
  • Interest in technology, data privacy, and intellectual property law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • A college degree in computer science, engineering, or science is preferred but not required.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar in Texas.

Skills:

  • Expertise in technology transactions, including licensing and SaaS agreements.
  • Knowledge of privacy law and data protection regulations.
  • Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
