A law firm seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its team in Irvine, CA. This full-time position provides the opportunity to work on business and real estate transactions while collaborating closely with business owners and high-net-worth individuals. The ideal candidate will have a background in transactional law, with a focus on business formations, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as an understanding of corporate governance, tax, and succession planning.

Duties:

  • Assist in the formation and maintenance of business entities for clients.
  • Provide legal advice on various matters related to real estate, corporate governance, tax issues, and business succession planning.
  • Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions, as well as financings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including corporate documents and contracts.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal counsel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality service and the efficient handling of complex transactions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their legal needs are met in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle complex transactional matters in business and real estate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, with a proactive approach to case management.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar is required.

Skills:

  • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and transactional skills.
