Duties:

  • Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and memoranda
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and represent clients effectively
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
  • Work with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports, affidavits, and holding conferences

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
  • Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and workers' compensation law
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing workers' compensation law
  • Experience taking depositions of medical professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California
