An exceptional opportunity awaits a Senior International Estate Planning Associate Attorney at a prestigious law firm in Naples. The ideal candidate should possess impeccable academic credentials, including a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school, and must be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar. With at least 5 years of experience, this role presents a unique chance to excel in advising clients on intricate international estate planning matters.

As a Senior International Estate Planning Associate Attorney, your primary focus will be guiding U.S. clients with foreign assets, helping them establish the proper structures to minimize U.S. taxes. This role involves collaborating closely with foreign counsel on a range of critical issues, including structuring estate plan documents to benefit foreign beneficiaries, devising tax and estate planning structures for non-U.S. citizen spouses, navigating U.S. estate and gift tax implications, and advising on matters such as renouncing U.S. citizenship and abandoning long-term permanent residency.

Additionally, your responsibilities will encompass drafting U.S. estate plan documents for U.S. clients with foreign assets or foreign beneficiaries and administering estates of U.S. individuals who own foreign assets. You will also provide expert guidance to foreign clients, assisting them in structuring investments in the U.S., optimizing real estate acquisitions, and creating tax-efficient structures for asset transfers to U.S. beneficiaries, all while offering insights into pre-immigration planning.

By joining our firm, you'll become part of an inclusive and diverse workplace that highly values professional growth and collaboration. The firm offers a competitive compensation package, continuous development opportunities, and a vibrant legal community. If you are a seasoned attorney looking to advance your career and make a meaningful impact in international estate planning, then you are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity in beautiful Naples.

This Naples office of a New England law firm in business over 100 years specializes in tax, audit and offshore matters but recently has emerged as a significant player in Healthcare law as well. Its attorneys rave about the collegial environment and competitive pay scale.

Your information will not be forwarded to any employers at this time. A recruiter will contact you with more information once our internal review of your resume is completed.
