A law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. The successful candidate will collaborate with the legal team to share knowledge and expertise, ensuring the highest standard of legal services are provided to each client. Additionally, the candidate will supervise non-attorney staff, manage personal injury caseloads through the pre-litigation claim process, and handle interactions and negotiations with insurance companies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, managing pre-litigation claim processes.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
  • Handle personal injury caseloads, ensuring efficient progress through the pre-litigation claim process.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all prepared documents.
  • Interact and negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have an active Bar license in Oklahoma.
  • 1+ years of civil practice experience.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Committed to providing superb, responsive, and compassionate client service.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and tech-savvy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active Bar license in Oklahoma (required).
