Duties:

  • Represent clients in various insurance defense matters, including bodily injury defense, construction defect, and employment-related claims.
  • Develop and execute legal strategies independently, while collaborating with a team of attorneys when necessary.
  • Engage with clients to understand their unique needs and offer tailored legal solutions.
  • Provide exceptional service through clear communication, strong advocacy, and effective problem-solving.
  • Handle a caseload with the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines effectively.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and legal developments relevant to insurance defense.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of California and good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense or related areas.
  • Strong litigation experience and case management skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and manage complex legal issues independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar is required.
  • Additional State Bar admissions are a plus.

  • Expertise in insurance defense matters, including but not limited to bodily injury defense, construction defect, and employment claims.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
