Job Overview A well-established law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Franchise/Corporate Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team in Malvern, PA. This role is ideal for a mid-level attorney with 3–6 years of experience in corporate and franchise law, who is capable of handling transactional matters, regulatory filings, and trademark work while providing strategic counsel to clients. Duties
Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations to support client advice and strategy
Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and franchise disclosure documents
Prepare legal correspondence and filings for regulatory compliance
Provide legal counsel to clients on matters involving franchise and corporate law
Support trademark prosecution, including preparation and filing of trademark applications
Communicate with clients clearly and professionally to provide legal guidance and updates
Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and legal strategy sessions
Work closely with senior attorneys on developing case and transactional strategies
Monitor and stay updated on legal developments in franchise, corporate, and regulatory law
Prepare and file documents with state regulatory agencies
Requirements
3–6 years of experience practicing law with a focus in corporate and/or franchise law
Demonstrated experience drafting and reviewing legal documents and handling client communications
Familiarity with franchise registration, disclosure documents, and regulatory filings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to team-oriented legal work
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar (required)
Skills
Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in legal research tools and case/document management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High degree of professionalism and ethical conduct
