The firm represents clients who have suffered personal injuries due to the negligence of others. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients navigate the legal system and securing fair compensation for their injuries. The role involves providing legal advice, managing case progress, negotiating settlements, and handling pre-litigation tasks. Duties:

  • Provide expert legal counsel to clients on personal injury claims.
  • Represent clients in pre-litigation phases and negotiate settlements with insurance companies.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and interview witnesses to strengthen cases.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress and provide reassurance.
  • Ensure adherence to legal ethics and professional conduct standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies and case approaches.
  • Attend daily team meetings and monthly firm-wide sessions.
  • Perform other legal tasks as required to support client needs.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least 1 year of experience in personal injury law (Plaintiff or Defense).
  • An active member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar; North Carolina Bar membership is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • A growth-oriented mindset and commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the South Carolina Bar (North Carolina Bar membership is advantageous).

Skills:

  • Personal injury law expertise (Pre-litigation).
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues.
  • Excellent client communication and management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce.
