1st Party Property Damage Attorney

A law firm in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a skilled 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing property damage claims, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role involves working directly with clients, communicating with insurance companies, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss their property damage cases, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their cases.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers.
• Attend and represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Evaluate property damage claims to assess their validity and potential for successful resolution.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with the legal team to address case-related issues and advance client interests.
• Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective case management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in 1st Party Property Damage cases.
• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Strong understanding of property damage claims and litigation processes.
• Superb negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful settlements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and effective case management.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Florida Bar Association.
