Job Overview: A prestigious law firm located in Dallas, TX, is seeking a motivated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join their legal team. Duties:

• Provide legal guidance on immigration matters and propose strategic solutions.
• Represent both detained and non-detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage and maintain a diverse caseload, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
• Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare and review immigration applications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Present legal strategies and updates to law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations.
• Meet with potential clients for strategic consultations to determine the best legal course of action.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS testimony.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Proven ability to handle a caseload and move cases forward efficiently.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and legal professionals.
• Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, detained cases, and citizenship applications.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Texas Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide support to fellow attorneys.
