A law firm in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to handle primarily marital property litigation cases. The ideal candidate will represent clients in court, mediation, and negotiations, prepare legal documents, and provide legal advice on family law matters. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining legal standards are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload primarily focused on marital property litigation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation sessions, and negotiations.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various family law matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards, regulations, and court rules.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to effectively manage cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

Requirements:

• Licensed Attorney in the State of California.
• Familiarity with all aspects of family law procedures and pleadings; newer attorneys with a strong interest in learning family law will be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently as well as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
