Job Title: EOIR Immigration Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced EOIR Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. The role involves managing a diverse caseload, representing clients in removal proceedings, and working collaboratively with a dedicated team of legal professionals. Duties:

  • Represent clients, both detained and non-detained, in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, USCIS, and Board of Immigration Appeals.
  • Prepare and file defensive immigration applications, including asylum (I-589), cancellation of removal (42A/42B), adjustment of status (I-485), Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and Prosecutorial Discretion (PD) requests.
  • Review and submit family-based and humanitarian immigration filings such as I-130 petitions, I-601A waivers, and U-Visa applications.
  • Develop case strategies and conduct client consultations to provide legal analysis.
  • Supervise a team of paralegals to ensure efficiency and excellent client service.
  • Draft and file legal briefs for a variety of complex immigration cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing immigration law.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance legal cases effectively.
  • Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, EOIR processes, detained cases, and citizenship applications.
  • Experience with case management software (preferred).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to Texas Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
