A law firm seeks a talented and experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of sophisticated commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and lending transactions. Duties

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, from initial contract negotiations through due diligence and closing.
  • Provide legal counsel on real estate development projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent lenders in real estate-secured financing transactions, advising on deal structure, risk mitigation, and document preparation.
  • Manage complex engagements involving multiple stakeholders in a team-oriented setting.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, financing documents, and other legal instruments related to real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide strategic advice on real estate investment and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–10 years of legal experience in commercial real estate matters.
  • Strong background in property acquisition, disposition, and real estate development.
  • Experience representing lenders in real estate-secured transactions.
  • Leasing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal projects with efficiency and accuracy.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
