A law firm in Killeen, TX is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent courtroom skills, and the ability to manage complex litigation cases with high client engagement and strategic acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client meetings to gather case details and provide legal counsel.
  • Handle motion work, including drafting and filing motions as required.
  • Manage discovery processes, including evidence collection, analysis, and documentation.
  • Conduct and defend depositions in both preliminary and trial stages.
  • Represent clients in mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • State Bar certification in Texas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law (10+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated stellar client interface skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of aggression and advocacy on behalf of clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
