Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Leland, NC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Title Review Attorney. This role is ideal for an independent professional with strong communication skills and an outgoing personality. The attorney will be responsible for reviewing title searches and certifying title opinions, working in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

Duties:

• Review and examine title searches to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze recorded documents, trusts, estates, and corporate documents to verify title opinions.
• Prepare and provide comprehensive title certifications.
• Work closely with clients, lenders, realtors, and homebuilders to resolve title-related issues.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of service.
• Use title insurance company protocols when applicable.

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Bar license (South Carolina Bar license is preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in title reviews.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-service focus.
• Previous experience with title searches is preferred.
• Prior approval from a title insurance company is an asset.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the North Carolina Bar.

Certifications:

• North Carolina Bar certification is required.
