Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and prepare legal documents related to their cases
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings, guiding the best legal strategies after each hearing
• Handle court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research
• Analyze case outcomes by leveraging the knowledge of legal precedents
• Manage a diverse caseload and provide ongoing client consultation
• Gather additional evidence to support client cases or challenge the prosecution's arguments
• Prepare clients for depositions, including case strategy development and information gathering from witnesses and experts

Requirements:

• Proven experience handling criminal cases across federal, state, and local courts
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, sharing strategies and insights
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and legal teams

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California Bar

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California
