Mid-Level to Senior Debt Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a skilled Mid-Level to Senior Debt Finance Associate Attorney to significantly contribute to the growth and success of its private credit, acquisition financing, special situations, restructuring, and private equity practices. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the firm's strategic objectives in these key practice areas.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance.
• Actively participate as a key member of deal teams, taking responsibility for running signings and closings, and drafting initial versions of debt commitment papers and credit documentation.
• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to ensure smooth transaction processes and successful outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the firm's debt finance practice areas.

Requirements:

• Admission to and membership in good standing of the Texas Bar.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in debt finance, preferably within a law firm environment.
• Proven track record of handling complex secured lending matters with a high degree of proficiency.
• Prior experience as a key member of deal teams, with demonstrated ability to take the lead on transactional matters.
• Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and/or private equity-related corporate finance transactions is advantageous.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Texas Bar.
